Message If I were you concentrate on your front stage component speakers first. Rear speakers are overrated, they are usually not properly tuned anyway. From my personal experience a 6.5" component set will work pretty good. Make sure you listen to both titanium and silk dome tweeters. I personally like silk dome tweeters, they dont have a harsh sound like most titanium tweeters exibit.

If you really want the ulitmate do a three way component set. I am currently using this configuration using a special head unit that controls all of the speakers crossover points actively. Passive crossovers tend to be less flexable for our particular applications in our Zs. There is enough room for a 4" in the kick pannel with the tweeter surface mounted right next to the 4" driver. the 6.5" is behind the factory grill taking advantage of those steel adapter plates you can buy from courtesy Nissan.

Some speaker manufacturers I like:
-Focal
-Boston Acoustic
-Morel
-a/d/s
-Dynaudio

Just remember the more drivers you have the more complicated it is to tune the system. I always start with your source and work your way from there. Your system can spell itself out once you decide which head unit you have. My personal favoriates are Pioneer Preimer head units. DEH-P880PRS or if you want more control use the DEX-P9 with the DEQ-P9 processor.
